We spent Christmas Eve at Madonna's making sausigah (I have no idea how you spell that). Joe led the event.
Rock Band
As you can see everyone took Rock Band very seriously. The game was a huge hit. I think that Greg and Forrest have actually been in that room playing since this photo was taken.
Christmas Morning
We had a really nice time as usual at Joan and Dave's Christmas morning.
I know nobody likes to be photographed this early in the morning...sorry!

2007 Christmas Poem
We left an adventurous 2007 in the dust.
So reviewing the highlights is an absolute must.
Trips to 3 continents were on the list.
And milestone birthdays weren't missed.
With Joan and Dave turning 50 this year.
Sit back and relax there is a lot to hear. Let's start with the biggest event of them all.
Ella Madonna was born and is having a ball.
She arrived in Feb one cold winter night.
Where Rose pushed and pushed with all of her might!
Followed closely by Amelia's wedding out West.
With yellow boots, dancing and tons of fun guests.
Joe started a new job and moved back to "N" "J".
With Jen in his future only a couple months away.
We had lots of family on the traveling go.
Robin went to Ireland for a semester or so.
With visits from Eva, her mom and her Dad.
Not even a black eye could make the trip bad.
Zak bonded with Ella on traveling from DC.
Being a great uncle he was meant to be Zak is still living in LA basking in the sun.
And joined Alley parents to Disney for some funDave went to yoga camp to study with his Guru.
Then off with Cliff and the boys to hike Peru.
With vision of email & ipods dancing in her head.
To the electronic super store.
Aunt Susan did fled.
For connections with family and friends
Who knows if the fun will ever end...
Dad and Pam might be in NJ quite as a mouse.
But they've already closed on the new Delaware house.
Not to mention Matthew move to a new place.
Still in Hoboken with Gimple but much better space.
To no surprise Eva was published againAnd has a new roommate, Sally her friend.
Madonna been busy being a sitou and more.
There's the new porch completed which we all adore.
After a long summer day out in the sunIt's a great place to relax and have some fun.
Joan & Dave you guys have nothing to fear.
Greg & Forrest had another fantastic year.
Captain of the soccer team Greg did make.
And rumor had it Forrest's leg did break.
But Forrest made the varsity baseball team.
And at the state soccer game they both could be seen.
Not to mention Forrest played on the Pawsox field.
Watch out soon he'll want his fruit to be pealed.
Scott started the year with the Austis down under.
But had more fun in Boston with Robino this summer.
Rachel & Scott headed west for a week on the slopes.
And had good news regarding their promotion hopes.
Josie invited to our first Syrian Hef-laWe all enjoyed the Ke-ba, Hummus and de-be-ka .
Even though 2007 has been a blast.
Time goes by awful fast.
Next brings 2 graduations for the Dwyer kids.
What will Robin do when evaluating bids.
And off to college Greg will goTo Quinipac or Coastal who will know.

Family Christmas 2006
Sitou, Giou, Rich and Rosalie must be up there stirring the pot
Because this year we’ve been up to quite a lot
Miss Amelia and Aaron got engaged to be married
On May 12th of next year flowers will be carried
Down the isle in Breck is where we’ll all be
To honor them at their wedding … it will be sight to see!
Eva Rose is still dating Steve as her man
Apparently she’s becoming a Jameson fan
She was published in a prestigious journal for us all to see
And had Robin living with her this summer in NYC
Robin is a jr this year up at school
Being a smarty pants and making others look like a fool!
She is off to Dublin next month for a study abroad semester
Will she be studying or partying…we’ll have to test her
Upon return she’ll start her fancy Internship
Where she’ll hob knob and have martini’s to sip
Greg & Forrest scored big as it’s clear to see
Since we all know about the new couch and TV
But let’s not forget about the trip to Europe
To play soccer and attend the actual world cup
With a basement set up to keep them all entertained
No wonder Joan and Dave are finally sane
And then we have the oldest cousin Joe – Joe
Who packed his bags and is on the go-go
Off to NY / NJ leaving Boston behind
With plans for a new job he wants to find
The New England crew is going to miss you
Be sure to come back and visit so we’re not blue

They’re living in Hoboken, hitting on women and keeping in Simple
Matt has a new job at the Bank of New York
We’ve got lots to celebrate so let’s pop some corks
Rachel met Scott in the summer of 2000 and 6
With a trips to Vegas, Greece & Turkey all in the mix
There were soon talks of moving in together
And before you know there was moving of leather
Their condo was purchase which is so great
One could say it might just be fate!
Josie is rocking and rolling from her head to her feet
Even if she did toss Salo out on his street
She is saving the planet on town at a time
With community service projects she does find
With plans to return back to the Middle East
For the international bike ride and a yummy feast
This brings us to Rose who we most adore
She opened the fabulous Orange Lola store
With an on line site and a store front on Main
She keeps expanding her south country rein
And of course next February will be a big whirl
When we all get to meet her new baby girl!
Which bring our to beloved Zackary K
Who packed up his bags and moved to LA
He produced his movie and sent it out
Now we just need to figure out what’s it about
He has a new job and a new cute girlfriend
Sounds like California is working out in the end
So all and all 2006 had been busy
And we’re wrapping up the year a little bit dizzy
But we’re able to be together for the Holidays
And enjoy the season as a family amongst the craze
Because that, in fact, is what it’s all about
Us together, as a family while the years flow in and out
So as tonight’s eve turns into tomorrow’s day

T’was the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse….
Wait Dave was because Eva always makes him put everything together
There will be no assembly on Christmas day in the Dwyer house
The stockings are hung carefully on our stairway …
And for the first time in years, Forrest is a teen- Hurray hurray !
We do not have to get up at the butt crack of dawn
We can sleep in and rest without a big yawn
All the children were nestled all snug in their beds… with visions of sugarplums dance in our heads
Before the big day when the rituals begins
Lets do a year in review with family cousins
Rachel is heading east after acclaimed Microsoft success

He broke his arm too but only just one at the game for a bit of fun
Zak picked up and drove out to LA
To make it in the movies one bright day
Craigs list serves him well -he scored more than an apartment.... lets say.
Did you hear Main Street has a new name
Is Baby Rose Ave….she be there for play and work
And this year she spent her frist time in CA as a perk
Josie is living in worchester with Salo the star
driving around in a new fancy car!
Amelia has a new Job that keeps her busy by day
Her and aaron are buying more and more toys to play
They hosted thanksgiving with great success
At entertaining the family they are the best
Our credit cards are cracked and the freezer is packed
Let the fun begin…
May the gods guide us to stir the memonia the right way
And let the cheese be just salty enough so there’s no hell to pay

2004 (ot really a poem- year one)
2004 in Review Shagwert Hayek Kaufman
We experienced everything this year from the never in a million years (Rachel moved in with Joe.) To how many miles did Eva run – a million?
This year 5 of us graduated.
Josie might have got her masters in 2003- but most of us did not find out till this year.
Amelia received her Associates degree.
Greg successfully completed Grade school and entered into High School.
Robin graduated from high school with an A grade point average
And Matthew got by in NE on way more than his big smile and grape catching tricks. Congrats Matt!
More Celebrations
Amelia celebrated her 4 years with Aaron
Joan and David 25- “they look so young –could you believe they have 5 children”
Robin went to the Prom- we celebrated her break up with Biff- her reunion- her break up and reunion with biff
In NYC on November 7th – 30,000 runners ran and our eva came in the top quarter- with energy to spare- it was day of fun (for all the spectators) go eva screamed the orange hat wearers!
Greg and Forrest played on the Middle School BB team- Forrest played lots of Baseball and made the all stars- Greg made the HS soccer and BB ball teams
Pam is still with Joe- ask a matter of fact they celebrated their one year anniversary
Joe went out with a girl for a month- but than she wanted to talk.
Rose stood by Jane and a fun May wedding to Tom
Rachel holds the ring for celebrations- she was in 5 more weddings.
Ikea openend in New Haven
Team Cotton Kills – conquered Mt Washington once more time!! Go team.
Travel
Susan toured Italy
Josie went to South America but continues to study Arabic- she is not the americania- she can prove it by flashing you her back.
Joan escaped to Greece- under the guise of doing yoga- it was a business trip- really
Rose went to see a ship come in Seattle
Days after the marathon- Eva hobbled onto a Boeing 747 to PR
Amelia came east, visited Seattle, lake Tahoe, Canada, Florida and the Bahamas
Joan and Dave did their 25th in Chicago
The Kauffman’s had a family reunion in DC
Dave retreated to the NC mountains for his annual meditation trek
Zak made the trek to the Virginia mountains to start building the new family ranch
Rachel criss-crossed the country this year. Seattle- NJ, Seattle- LA, Seattle – SC, Seattle – Alaska, Seattle the islands. She left Seattle so much Seattle feels bad about it self. Joe did you notice not too much Seattle – Boston. You might want to check your deodorant.
Injuries
We can’t count Eva’s facites or muscle strains- they were self-induced.
26.2 miles who does that??? I know 30,000 people
Sitou laid low this year- sometimes a little too low. I think she had 3 falls.
But thanks to her angels- one being Madonna- no serious damage. We are from strong Syrian stock remember.
Greg had a run in with a deer- the deer won
Forrest had a run in with a basketball hoop the floor won.
Josie had a scare with her neck
Aunt Ann is recovering from her fall – the competition between those two sisters is getting out of hand.
It is the youngest and the oldest- all of us in the middle were safe this year
Changes of Address
Matthew has a new home in hobeken – but the same bed partner-Gimp and a new Citibank job
Eva has an apartment with heat- but not job.
Zak is trying out a new borough and has moved from Brooklyn to Queens
Rose is trying out the ocean view- and
Robin is a College girl – go Bentley Eagles!!!!!!!!!!!
Rachel has a new home and new car- Joe did you know Rachel moved in.

Did you know he was on the set of the bachelorettte? No he did not get picked by the millionaire women but if tells anyone who did he will be out millions.
Most of visited PPB this year- and Sitou did ok without Joe’s Friday nite food town walk throughs
Most of us went to Toms for Turkey day We got to NYC and Yankee games
Most of us (except Amelia – Joe and Pam and Dan) are here enjoying the 17 lbs of sasegal that Joe made for us.
Most of us voted this year- and most of us are saddened .So the next four might be a challenge.. but we have each other and that’s what counts.
